Customer Testimonials

I recently had my '89 Porsche 928 in to have much needed work on it's driveline. I found the whole experience very refreshing from my other car repair experiences. From Mike's evaluation & diagnosis of the problem to it's repair, I was not only a customer but an active part of Mike's team. From listening to my concerns, translating mechanical terms to ideas I understood and keeping my budget goals in line, Mike and his staff were remarkable. I highly recommend German Auto Tech to any fellow Porsche owners. I might see you there because I know I'll be back.

"Driven By A Higher Standard"... isn't just marketing signage on the front door. For me It's a reflection on the qualities of Mike and his team of professionals in the service they provide to your beloved German ride. Mike has serviced my Audi ever since it rolled off the dealership lot. Having recently moved to Charlotte, NC, I still continue to bring my Audi to Mike for regular service twice a year when we come up for Canada Day and Christmas Holidays. Sound nuts? Maybe, but Mike's that good at what he does!

My husband gave me a 2004 Porsche Boxster for my birthday! Lucky me! Because it's considered an "exotic" car the problem became finding a good mechanic. I asked a friend who had a Porsche and he told me about Mike at German Autotech. It can be intimidating being a woman and driving a vehicle of this caliber. You open the front or back hood and there is no engine in sight! Not that I would know what to do if I did see one. My first visit was to change the oil and have Mike give it the once over as we had bought it used. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle later that day, Mike had it out back and was hand washing it himself. I knew right then I had found the mechanic I was looking for. He took me on a tour of the vehicle and showed me some tips and tricks I didn't know. I've been back a few times for issues that cropped up and each time Mike was knowledgeable about the problem and when it was corrected, took the time to show me the parts he had replaced and explained how it worked. It's important to him that you understand. He loves these vehicles and it shows in the care he takes.

Thanks Mike for getting me through this season! Looking forward to the spring!
